Top 5 Photoshop CS3 Books

POSTED June 18th, 2008 by CampPhotoshop
Top 5 Photoshop CS3 Books

I can’t imagine that there is anyone out there that says they know and understand everything about Photoshop CS3. I’m an Adobe Certified Expert and I still learn new things every day about how the program works or different approaches to a given task. What that means is that my shelves are full of books on one of my favorite topics, Photoshop.  read more

Photoshop CS4 is everywhere! Is it real?

Photoshop CS4 is everywhere! Is it real?

Photoshop CS4 is everywhere! Is it real? When will it happen? Should I care? Before my friends and fans start asking, I thought I'd address what I currently know about it, my opinion about what will happen, and what you can and should do about it.

There are several new CS4 branded Adobe beta products available for public consumption. I received an invitation to the 2008 Worldwide Adobe Training Partner Summit.  read more

Camp Counselor Adobe Photoshop CS3 Certified

POSTED May 6th, 2008 by CampPhotoshop

Thank you, thank you very much. Camp Photoshop counselor Roger Ridpath is Adobe Photoshop CS3 Certified (up to now I was CS2 Certified). I have to say the test was no easier this time than it was the last time. While taking the test I had this weird Twilight Zone/ déjà vu feeling like I’d been here before and it felt uncomfortable.  read more

Finally We Know!

POSTED April 26th, 2008 by CampPhotoshop

It seems very appropriate that I'm posting this on a Saturday night. Ok, you may or may not have heard about Donnie Hoyle and the YouTube.com series You Suck at Photoshop. If you haven’t and you love Photoshop and great comedy, check it out (warning adult content).

As a Photoshop ACE myself. I couldn’t help but be entertained by the 10 tutorials Donnie posted. I knew that it had to be someone who actually understood the program. I thought there was a chance that Donnie was actually Deke McClelland. Deke seems to have a great sense of humor and is a Photoshop ninja. I also thought it might be someone from the Scott Kelby group.  read more

Behind the scenes sneak peek

POSTED April 22nd, 2008 by CampPhotoshop
please stand by

Ok so it’s been over a week since I posted. I want to provide you with an update about the Camp. There is continued production here at Camp Photoshop but right now it’s all behind the scenes. I’ve got one tutorial in the can, one outlined and one on deck. The good news is that I’ll be giving away the first two tutorials in 720p HD along with the support files to anyone who signs up to be a Camp Photoshop member in the freebie area. Hey if you’re not doing anything right now why don’t you go ahead and sign up for that free stuff!  read more

It's all beta baby!

POSTED April 12th, 2008 by CampPhotoshop
CampPhotoshop Beta Baby

What does it mean that this web site is in beta release? Well it means you are a beta user (tester). A beta user is not required to report problems they encounter in the use of beta software or web site. But it is very helpful in developing a useful and mostly error free experience for all users. So please post your comments or send me an e-mail.  read more
